Over the past twenty years, JMID has built strong relationships with the best general contractors, flooring suppliers, cabinet makers, painters and craftsmen of every trade in southwest Florida. We just finished our second major project with Minka from Jinx McDonald. This time, she magically transformed our new home in Bonita Bay. We couldn’t be happier. As before, she exceeded our expectations and again we have an exquisite showplace. This time, our total renovation was done from afar. We trusted Minka that much! From the very first time my husband and I stepped foot into the Jinx McDonald showroom, we had a good feeling about working with them. The initial team of women made us feel as though we were the most important clients they had at the time. My husband likes to be involved with all the decisions when it comes down to designing, building & furnishings of our new home. The Jinx McDonald team took this all in stride& made both of us feel "part of the process." They have "tuned in" ears to hear what we wanted. They have an incredible eye that captured exactly the curb appeal (inside & out) we were looking for. They have a color sense like no one else we've worked with. From lighting to carpeting to artwork to unique furnishings, they spelled out a time frame, a budget & went to work. Their showroom is filled with something for everyone. Even the contemporary style like us who think out of the box. When there were dates & cost to be met or when problems arose, the Jinx McDonald team was professional & truly a breath of fresh air. By the end of the project, they were our new found Naples friends. We would use them again in a heartbeat. We worked with Minka McDonald and Beth Walker-Fenton on our winter home in The Colony in Bonita Springs. We were new to the SW Florida area and were working from afar, so we were fairly nervous about the process. No need, Minka and Beth were a complete delight to work with. They listened to our ideas and then made them better than we could have imagined. They are professional and creative and we are thrilled with the results. I would hire them again without hesitation.

Both my wife and I had such a wonderful experience with Beth & Minka. On budget and on time is not something you hear that often in the construction business. I know this to be true as I am in the construction business. We closed on our condo in September and the next day Beth & Minka were in the unit working. There were quite a few things to do even though it was brand new. Electric, Moulding, Painting, Wall Paper, Lighting, Fans & of course all the Furniture. Their communication with us could not have been any better. We live in New York and they were emailing pictures and questions as they made progress. We came back to see the finished home in November. It was exactly what we wanted our Naples home to feel like.
